Windows Live C0000005 Windows Live Communications Platform Has Stopped Working?

Ok this happened ages ago, I switched back to an earlier version of MSN and it was good, but now I have said I had to download the latest version, otherwise the contract work, so I did and the problem is back ¬ ¬ no idea how I will be my McAfee anti-virus update, if that makes sense, and I'm lookin to help in some forums about this and apparently it?

You can work the old version in order to select the program you will find properties and in compatibility mode for Windows 2000.
Otherwise, you can download a free alternative like Pidgin Messenger:
http://www.pidgin.im/download/windows/
to do the same work as Live Messenger, but without advertising.
